About the project

CARIBA (Cancer Risk Behavior Assessment) is an innovative and comprehensive project on cancer prevention, created as part of the work of the Student Scientific Circle 'Oncos' of Opole University.

It consists in examining behaviours that increase the risk of illness and conducting educational activities. The project in the pilot period is to be nationwide in nature

It will eventually become an international project. The general objective of the project is to reduce the incidence of malignancies and to improve the early detection of cancer in the global population through:

• promoting knowledge of oncological prevention in an interactive, accessible and personalized way
• increase awareness of the available treatment methods and the effectiveness of modern oncological therapy
• analyses assessing knowledge of risk factors and cancer prevention in different cohorts of respondents
• to obtain a free, quick and individual cancer risk analysis with dedicated recommendations
